Our Story

Before founding Tekcorus, I worked in the staffing business for several years. I loved the concept of bringing the right talent and organizations together, but I didn’t like the way I had seen it done.

I had a vision of a recruiting and staffing firm based on respect—respect for clients who trust us to help them with important decisions that influence their bottom lines, and respect for candidates who turn to us at critical points in their careers and lives.

Staying true to this vision has translated into growth and long-term success for Tekcorus. We’re proud of our reputation and the fact that over half our clients and applicants are referred to us by colleagues or friends.

Executive Leadership

Doug Turner

Chief Executive Officer

Doug has over 25 years of Human Capital Management and Recruiting Industry experience. Doug has held Executive positions such as, Director-Branch Operations, Regional Vice President, National Sales Director, Managing Partner and Vice President of National Sales with many prestigious global recruiting firms.

Doug has also served as a Sr. Executive on a Committee for Women & Minority hiring at one of country’s largest privately owned staffing companies. Doug is currently President & CEO of Tekcorus.

Doug has a BA in Social Science and a secondary concentration in Business Management from St. Bonaventure University – Olean, NY.

Martin Herrington

Chief Financial Officer

A graduate of the prestigious Haskayne School of Business at University of Calgary, Martin received his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1989 with a Finance major. An avid entrepreneur throughout his life, Martin partnered with his oldest brother Chris to build The Herrington Teddy Bear Company to a world renowned brand. As Chief Financial Officer and Managing General Partner, Martin was responsible for all aspects of the business including Sales, Production, HR, IT, and operations.

Martin holds the Series 7 and Series 66 Securities Licenses and held the Wealth Advisory Associate role with Morgan Stanley before becoming a Financial Advisor. Martin is currently a partner and Vice-President with Tekcorus Consulting, a Recruiting & RPO Agency specializing in recruiting high tech talent & Recruitment Process Outsourcing Services.

Mr. Herrington holds a very distinguished record of service in non-profit organizations in Canada and the U.S. with his most recent focus growing the Youth Motivation Task Force of Orange County.
